The challenge

What was in the way.

Big-bang risk

A 12-year-old monolith ran policy, billing and claims. A big-bang rewrite was too risky for a regulated carrier - any failure meant business stoppage.

Regulatory + integration constraints

Dozens of integrations and state regulations meant nothing could simply be swapped. Every change had to be provably safe and auditable.

The solution

How we solved it.

We strangler-migrated domain by domain, dual-running old and new with validation gates, on IaC landing zones with canary deploys and instant rollback - so the business never stopped.

We moved a 12-year-old monolith and the business never noticed. That's the whole point.
